Workshop - WRITING // DANCING

Plugging into the field of imagination, dancing, and writing as a playground. We use space and geometry to create a window into the senses. Easy.
Process
Morning Session 10:30am - 12:30pm
Warm up the body. Chi Cultivation. Scramble Technique.
We will use space and geometry as a research platform, developing awareness between choice and intuition.
Afternoon Session 1:00 - 3:00pm
Application.
The afternoon will be spent writing and watching each other dance. We will use a director-performer process, exchanging roles and sharing feedback.

Writing for the love of it – a journal, a view, a sideways walking, portals and frames, a quadrant as a mountain climb. Exploring writing as dancers, we venture into the cave of dreaming out into the open fields. We then launch our minds in the sky.
Process:
Warm up the body – Chi Cultivation, scramble technique for the day.
Tools needed:
Pen, pencil, paper
Optional: a long paper you can put/tape on a wall. Chalk, crayons, charcoal, markers. Some books around.
